The intent of this course is to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for students to enter the work force at entry level or higher. The student will be introduced to basic Facility Maintenance to include Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Appliance Repair, and Landscape/Pool Maintenance. As well as Safety, Basic Construction Math, Print Reading, Construction Tools and Materials, and Preparing for the Workforce.  Extensive training will be given to students in the areas of professional behaviors, leadership, cleanliness and safety in the workplace. Upon completion of this course the student will be prepared for an entry level position or higher in the Facility Maintenance industry.
