ChefsGO 1.0 equips students with foundational culinary techniques and knowledge including knife skills, equipment operation, kitchen mathematics, nutrition and food allergies, food and kitchen safety, and hands-on preparation of stocks and sauces, fruits and vegetables, meats and seafood, bakery products, etc., and so much more.  Eleven weeks of hands-on training is followed by 15 weeks of paid mentorship with one of our participating chefs.  Students will obtain CPR/AED/Heimlich certification, ServSafe Food Handlers certification, and the Certified Kitchen Cook designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
