This course teaches care of older patients with emphasis on the social, emotional, and spiritual needs.  Covers procedures, communication and interpersonal relations, observation, charting and reporting, safety and infection control, anatomy and physiology, personal care, nutrition and patient feeding, death and dying.  Includes laboratory and clinical practice hours.
